Eisen
- Experience with managing containerized applications, preferably in an Openshift environment.

- At least five years of experience in a comparable large-scale and complex infrastructure environment, ideally within financial services.
- English and Dutch mandatory (language proficiency).

- Extensive experience with Ansible Automation Platform (preferably version 2.6 or higher).

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) Engineer to join the Ansible Automation squad within Foundation4Techs Infrastructure as Code area. You will help provide a secure, stable 24/7 automation service that enables application and platform teams across the bank to deliver efficiently and consistently. Foundation4Tech manages one of the largest corporate on-premises infrastructures in the Netherlands. The organisation is centrally based in Utrecht and works with regional centres in London, Sydney, Singapore and New York to support the business locally.
Its scope includes distributed and data centre networks, platform and Oracle services, secure connectivity and network segmentation, lifecycle management and patching, and infrastructure automation and control. As part of an international Agile team, you will work with colleagues in Utrecht and London in an environment of more than 9,000 on-premises servers. Security is central to the role, and your automation and operational expertise will contribute to a resilient, secure and standardised technology landscape.
Key Responsibilities: Design, deploy, administer, and continuously improve a 24/7 Ansible Automation Platform service for hundreds of application and platform teams across the bank. Automate repetitive operational activities and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reliability and standardization. Perform platform lifecycle management including installation, upgrades, patching, migrations, backup and recover. Apply a strong security and compliance mindset to automation for Linux and Windows platforms.
Support IT operations activities, including incident, change and problem processes. Collaborate with the international AAP platform team in Utrecht and London. Participate in standby duties and daily operational shifts as part of the teams 24/7 service responsibility. Contribute to Foundation4Techs goals to protect the banks licence to operate, deliver managed and standardised services, and drive innovation and continuous improvement.
