API Architect

API Architect – Start ASAP – 12 months – Amsterdam (Hybrid) – Integration Architecture – Open/REST. Next Ventures seeks an experienced API architect to deliver a key project on a hybrid arrangement for a client in Amsterdam.

Key skills required: Integration Architect with more than 18 years of experience preferably in Banking domain; Strong experience in Integration Architecture, API Architecture, and API Governance; Hands-on expertise in API design, development, implementation, and lifecycle management; Proficiency in OpenAPI Specifications, Resource Modeling, and Requirement/Business Analysis; Strong knowledge of REST API Design using YAML/XML and API design best practices; Experience with REST Security, including OAuth2 and JWT; Hands-on experience with Apigee API Management Platform; Good understanding of SOAP/WSDL services and legacy integration patterns; Strong communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills; Continuous learning mindset with the ability to adapt to evolving technologies and methodologies.

Any experience in banking is preferred.
