Assembly Mechanic

Our client is an international technology organization providing advanced machinery and solutions for the food processing industry. Within a collaborative and multicultural production environment, the organization focuses on delivering high-quality, innovative and reliable equipment to customers worldwide. As an Assembly Mechanic, you will be responsible for the correct assembly of modules and complete machines according to customer specifications, technical drawings and quality standards.

You will work closely with colleagues across the organization to ensure machines are assembled safely, efficiently and within agreed lead times. In addition to assembly activities, you will contribute to testing, troubleshooting and continuous improvement within your area of responsibility. Key responsibilities include assembling mechanical and mechatronic modules and machines according to customer specifications, working according to agreed lead times and standard production times, following assembly, disassembly, inspection, calibration and adjustment procedures, performing test runs and verifying the dynamic functions of machines, reading and working from technical drawings and assembly documentation, operating industrial equipment safely, ensuring compliance with quality, health, safety and environmental standards, identifying technical issues and communicating them to the Team Leader, contributing to continuous improvement, participating in work discussions and collaborating with other departments.

Requirements include secondary education in a relevant technical field, experience and/or affinity with mechanical or mechatronic assembly, experience reading technical drawings, technical problem-solving skills, strong teamworking and communication skills, result-oriented and quality-focused, able to work according to schedules and procedures, experience in the food processing industry is a plus, good command of English and Dutch or German, and experience in a multicultural and multidisciplinary organization is an advantage.
