Omschrijving

The Associate Scientist role is located in Cork, Ireland, for a duration of 12 months, 39 hours per week. Reporting into the Snr Plant Microbiologist, the Operations process microbiologist is responsible for active participation in the microbiological control and assurance program within the operations department, managing activities in compliance with corporate, cGMP, EHS, and other regulatory requirements. Roles and responsibilities include leading by example, assuring safe accomplishment of job activities, carrying out routine and non-routine tasks, compliance with corporate and cGMP/EHS requirements, completion of documentation per GDP, execution of activities to meet operational needs, supporting commissioning and qualification activities, prioritizing and scheduling activities, leading investigations, participating in cross-functional teams, generating and reviewing manufacturing documentation, ensuring personal training requirements, and supporting ongoing studies. Requirements: BSc in a scientific/technical discipline, minimum of 3 years of experience within a pharmaceutical or GMP regulated environment, knowledge and experience of shop floor manufacturing processes, and working knowledge of data analytics. The role offers a very competitive hourly rate. The contract will run for 12 months. PAYE, LTD & Umbrella options are available.
