Foundation4Tech is looking for a proactive and experienced Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) Engineer to join the Ansible Automation squad within Foundation4Techs Infrastructure as Code area. The role helps provide a secure, stable 24/7 automation service that enables application and platform teams across the bank to deliver efficiently and consistently. Foundation4Tech manages one of the largest corporate on-premises infrastructures in the Netherlands, centrally based in Utrecht, with regional centres in London, Sydney, Singapore and New York.

Its scope includes distributed and data centre networks, platform and Oracle services, secure connectivity and network segmentation, lifecycle management and patching, and infrastructure automation and control. As part of an international Agile team, you will work with colleagues in Utrecht and London in an environment of more than 9,000 on-premises servers.

Key responsibilities include: designing, deploying, administering, and continuously improving a 24/7 Ansible Automation Platform service for hundreds of application and platform teams; automating repetitive operational activities; performing platform lifecycle management including installation, upgrades, patching, migrations, backup and recovery; applying a strong security and compliance mindset to automation for Linux and Windows platforms; supporting IT operations activities including incident, change and problem processes; collaborating with the international AAP platform team in Utrecht and London; participating in standby duties and daily operational shifts as part of the team's 24/7 service responsibility; and contributing to Foundation4Techs goals to protect the bank's licence to operate, deliver managed and standardised services, and drive innovation and continuous improvement.
