Our client is a global healthcare organization with a strong focus on research, pharmaceutical development, and innovative laboratory technologies. You will join an Analytical Development team supporting laboratory operations, equipment, automation, and data integrity. As an Automation & Equipment Lifecycle Specialist, you will support the introduction and lifecycle management of laboratory equipment while providing automation support for analytical systems.

You will work with systems such as Empower and contribute to data integrity, system improvements, and technical solutions across the laboratory environment. Key responsibilities include support the introduction, maintenance, and decommissioning of laboratory equipment; manage equipment lifecycle documentation and related processes; support automation of laboratory systems and applications; work primarily with Waters Empower and also Chromeleon, Unifi, and ICE3; translate user requirements into technical specifications; ensure laboratory systems comply with data integrity standards; support NPI projects and base business activities; troubleshoot urgent technical and automation challenges; identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and data management; and collaborate with laboratory, technical, and other stakeholders across the organization.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Computer Science, or a related field; experience or strong affinity with laboratory automation and analytical software; strong experience with Waters Empower is strongly preferred; knowledge of laboratory data acquisition and processing software; experience with database systems, visual reporting is a plus; knowledge of GMP quality systems; strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills; proactive, independent, and able to prioritize multiple activities; strong communication and stakeholder management skills; fluent in English, Dutch is a plus; hands-on experience with HPLC, CE, cSDS, or similar analytical systems is an advantage.
