Omschrijving
Role: between a large Azure data platform and the engineering teams that depend on it – provision environments, sort access, deploy pipelines, get users unstuck. The client is a large financial organisation; join the platform team that onboards and supports internal users of its Azure-based data and analytics environment. Users are technical (data engineers, analytics teams). The team owns onboarding, support and platform reliability; it's a regulated setting, so access management and traceability are daily work. Responsibilities: provision and support Azure data environments, deploy/maintain pipelines and platform configs, handle onboarding/incidents/questions, troubleshoot across Azure services, work with data engineers, improve reliability/usability/adoption, write documentation. Tech stack core: Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps CI/CD, deployment pipelines, access & identity management, storage accounts. Also in the mix: Azure Data Factory, Databricks, monitoring & diagnostics, Infrastructure as Code. Must-haves: experience as Azure/platform/DevOps/cloud support engineer; solid Azure working knowledge; hands-on deployment via Azure DevOps or comparable CI/CD; understanding of data platform services and how data engineers use them; strong troubleshooting and support mindset; communication skills for customer-facing role with technical users. Nice-to-have: specific tools (ADF, Databricks, storage accounts, access management, monitoring, IaC), experience onboarding teams, background in banking/enterprise. An Azure data fundamentals certification is required. Good to know: pre-employment screening, English working language (Dutch not required), valid EU work permit or right to work in the Netherlands.
