Omschrijving

We are looking for an experienced Azure Platform Engineer with an affinity for the Mendix platform and modern cloud technologies, for a leading financial services organization. You will be responsible for managing, improving and automating the Mendix platform and its underlying Azure infrastructure. Working closely with DevOps and development teams, you will help build and maintain a secure, stable and scalable platform that enables teams to develop and deploy applications efficiently. Responsibilities include: managing, monitoring and optimizing the Mendix platform and Azure infrastructure; working with Azure services such as Kubernetes, Virtual Machines, Docker, Networking, Storage and SQL Server; implementing and improving monitoring and observability using Azure Monitor, Application Insights and Container Insights; automating infrastructure and processes using Infrastructure as Code and PowerShell, Bash and/or Python; managing security solutions including Entra ID, Key Vault, Application Gateway and WAF; and resolving incidents and technical issues while contributing to further automation and standardization. The profile requires strong experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud infrastructure; knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Azure Networking and security; experience with monitoring, DevOps and Infrastructure as Code; scripting experience with PowerShell, Bash and/or Python; knowledge of SQL Server, Storage Accounts and Entra ID. Experience with Mendix, Grafana, Prometheus, NGINX or Linux is a plus. Strong command of the English language is required. The role is based in Amstelveen, is senior level, and requires 40 hours per week. The start date is 1 October.
