Omschrijving
Azure Tier 3 Cloud Support Engineer is primarily focused on operational support and the accompanying deployment processes. The role is responsible for delivering high-quality operational services, maintaining, and improving the operational state. The ideal candidate is expected to be well-rounded in Azure (IaaS and PaaS). They must have a strong background in Automation, Azure, Linux, and Containers. Responsibilities include working with various technologies to maintain, deliver, and support operational services; collaborating with operational staff, project management, cloud architects, security, and product management to ensure seamless transitions of new or modified services to production; acting as a lead in operational issues across country borders, representing the One Platform Operations organization. Key duties include being a subject matter expert, promoting global standards, working with outsourced providers and development teams, serving as escalation support, managing small projects, participating in on-call rotation, ensuring service levels, leading troubleshooting, complying with security standards, identifying improvement opportunities, developing procedures and metrics, implementing security solutions, implementing and supporting Microsoft solutions and disaster recovery, providing technical support, enhancing operations through automation and cost optimization, and providing feedback to Development and Automation teams. Technical Skills & Qualifications include Azure (IaaS & PaaS), Linux, Containers (Kubernetes etc.), DNS and Networking, Azure Monitoring, familiarity with SCCM and SCOM, strong background in Automation and Azure, hands-on experience in technical diagrams and documentation, analytical and systematic thinking, ability to thrive in high-pressure environment, cross-cultural collaboration, problem-solving, communication skills, proactive mindset, prioritization, diagnosing interrelationships, consulting and escalating issues, and knowledge-sharing. VOG verification is required. The posting is for a long-term assignment, expected to cover all of 2025, with 40 hours per week, and the work location is both on location in the Amsterdam region and remote.
