BCBS Consultant | Drive BCBS239 & Compass Compliance | Major Dutch Bank. A major Dutch bank is accelerating its journey toward full BCBS239 compliance ahead of a hard ECB year-end 2026 deadline. With the foundational groundwork laid, the focus now shifts to operationalization: embedding BCBS239 and Compass requirements into business-as-usual across Credit Risk and regulatory Finance reporting. This is a chance to work at the centre of a 14-use-case Compass programme spanning dashboarding, control frameworks and reconciliation, with direct visibility to regulatory stakeholders.

About the role: The bank has identified embedment of BCBS239/Compass as one of its top priorities for 2026, with two overarching deliverables: demonstrable BCBS compliance for the identified scope, and a BCBS-compliant go-live of all 14 Compass Use Cases. This is a freelance assignment (ZZP welcome) with a Dutch bank at the heart of the Amsterdam financial sector.

You will: Support embedment of BCBS239/Compass requirements across the Covernote/Dashboard, Control Framework and Reconciliation Framework Compass workstreams; Help demonstrate BCBS compliance for the identified scope to internal and regulatory stakeholders; Contribute to a compliant go-live of the 14 Compass Use Cases; Translate data governance and risk data aggregation principles into practical, BAU-embedded processes. Who are you? Strong knowledge of BCBS239 (risk data aggregation and risk reporting principles); Hands-on data analytics capability; Master's degree.
