Omschrijving
The role is for a Building Management System Engineer (BMS) at ABN AMRO, based in Amsterdam, 36 hours per week, start as soon as possible, ending 1 July 2027, with possible extension. The work is hybrid and ZZP is allowed. The organization seeks a business analyst/business developer with knowledge and experience in ABN AMRO, Information Technology and affinity with Building Management Systems (BMS). The team is responsible for maintenance and change in the software of building management systems, working on initiatives within HVAC, security and lighting management applications, translating requirements of Homebase and New Data Centre projects into workable solutions for a DevOps Agile Scrum team.
Responsibilities include gathering requirements, translating them to user stories, working with the Product Owner and stakeholders, clear communication with stakeholders and suppliers, supporting change risk assessments, handling security issues and tickets, and active role in change management.
Requirements: strong analytical and conceptual thinking; at least 10 years of experience as Project Manager/Business Developer in software development for facility and building management systems (lighting, security cameras, networking, cooling & air-conditioning, physical building access); proven experience in requirement gathering; experience in agile and DevOps; experience within ABN AMRO is a must.
Must have soft skills: strong written and verbal communication (English, preferably Dutch), pragmatic approach, attention to detail, listening skills, respectful of different cultures, critical thinking, adaptability, capable of building bridges.
