Business Analyst with Python Dutch speaking

Business Analyst / Python Developer | Regulatory | Asset Management. We are looking for a hands-on Business Analyst with strong Python experience to join a Regulatory team within the Asset Management environment of a leading financial organisation. You will work at the intersection of business analysis, Python development, data and financial regulation, helping translate complex regulatory requirements into practical solutions. This is a 6-month project based in Amsterdam, with a strong possibility of extension.

The Regulatory team consists of around 12 colleagues, both internal and external, and focuses on regulatory topics including DORA, MiFID, EMIR, SFDR and Market Abuse Regulation. As a Business Analyst / Python Developer, you will work closely with business teams to understand regulatory requirements, map processes and identify the impact across the investment chain. You will then use your technical knowledge to analyse data and build solutions using Python.

This is a hands-on position where you will not only document requirements, but also contribute to building the solutions yourself.

You will: Analyse and map regulatory requirements and business processes; Work with business teams to identify requirements and assess chain impact; Translate business and regulatory requirements into technical solutions; Use Python to analyse data and develop practical solutions; Help build new processes and solutions from the ground up; Act as the bridge between business, regulatory requirements and technology. Who are you? Proven experience as a Business Analyst in a complex environment; Strong, hands-on Python development experience; Experience with compliance and/or regulatory requirements; Experience within financial services; Knowledge of Asset Management and financial products is a plus; Affinity with the investment chain; Experience operating at DOE4 / senior level; Strong analytical skills and an accurate, structured approach; Proactive, positive and comfortable taking ownership; Able to work effectively in a dynamic and changing environment; Fluent in Dutch and English.
