Client Executive | Energy & Utilities

Make a strategic impact with our clients in the Energy & Utilities industry. Are you an experienced commercial leader who builds lasting relationships at executive level? As a Client Executive for Energy & Utilities at Cegeka, you take strategic and commercial ownership of a portfolio of clients operating within the Energy & Utilities sector. You understand the dynamics and challenges these organisations face and know how to translate their business, technology and transformation priorities into commercial opportunities.

By bringing together the right Cegeka capabilities, you help our Energy & Utilities clients move forward while driving sustainable growth and strengthening our position within the industry. With broad autonomy and a strong internal network, you build long-term client relationships, identify new opportunities and develop accounts strategically. The position is available for both payroll employees and freelancers and can be based anywhere in Belgium or the Nederlands.

Your responsibilities include: shaping and leading multi-year account strategies for clients active within the Energy & Utilities industry; building trusted relationships with senior executives and key decision-makers; identifying and developing new commercial opportunities; translating client insights, market developments, competitive intelligence, strategic data and financial information into differentiated growth propositions; bringing together Cegeka's business lines, service lines, delivery teams and expert communities to create integrated solutions; leading strategic opportunities, executive presentations and high-value commercial negotiations; monitoring and managing account performance, pipeline, profitability, retention, investments and strategic risks; anticipating developments within the Energy & Utilities market; and working closely with Client Officers and fellow Client Executives.

To succeed, you need at least 10 years of relevant experience in strategic account management, complex solution sales, business development or client leadership; a strong track record in managing and growing complex client relationships; commercial experience with clients in the Energy & Utilities industry; the ability to build credibility with C-level executives; experience developing long-term account strategies; the ability to identify and develop new business opportunities; the ability to lead complex sales processes and negotiations; an understanding of revenue, margin, pipeline, forecasting and financial drivers.

Experience in digital transformation, technology services or complex B2B solutions is an advantage, as is experience coaching colleagues or providing functional leadership. You communicate fluently in Dutch and English; French is a plus. You are based in Belgium or the Nederlands and are comfortable combining work at a Cegeka office, client locations and from home.
