Client Officer | Consumer & Retail

Cegeka is looking for a Client Officer for Consumer & Retail. In this role, you will build strong client relationships and create new opportunities within Consumer & Retail. You develop relationships with existing clients while actively creating new business opportunities with organisations operating within the Consumer & Retail industry. You stay close to your clients, understand their business needs and connect them with the right expertise within Cegeka.

At the same time, you actively approach new prospects, expand your network within the Consumer & Retail ecosystem and identify opportunities where Cegeka can make a difference. The position is available for both payroll employees and freelancers and can be based anywhere in Belgium. Responsibilities include building and strengthening relationships with existing clients, proactively approaching new prospects, identifying client needs and commercial opportunities, exploring new business opportunities, coordinating with sales, delivery and service teams, preparing and following up client meetings, contributing to account plans and pipeline, staying informed about market trends, and keeping client information up to date.

Requirements: a Bachelor's degree and first professional experience in a commercial, business development or client-facing role; initial commercial experience with clients within Consumer & Retail or a relevant network; client-oriented with a natural talent for building relationships; enjoy approaching new prospects; comfortable developing both existing accounts and new opportunities; entrepreneurial, proactive, results-driven; well organised; eager to deepen knowledge of technology and Cegeka's solutions; fluent in Dutch and English (French is a plus); based in Belgium and comfortable working at client locations, Cegeka offices and from home.
