Cloud Platform Engineer – Azure & Kubernetes

Our client, a key player in the European energy landscape, is seeking a specialist to support the reliability and sustainability of their electricity infrastructure. The role focuses on developing, implementing, and managing automated cloud solutions within a large-scale enterprise environment.

Responsibilities: develop, test, and troubleshoot containerized infrastructure and automated cloud solutions; build CI/CD pipeline configurations to orchestrate provisioning and deployment for large-scale systems; collaborate with engineering teams to deploy new infrastructure within the Azure platform using Terraform; monitor system health, availability, and latency while resolving issues across development and production environments; automate and streamline operations through infrastructure-as-code and GitOps models; maintain detailed documentation and present technical solutions to stakeholders.

Requirements: 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering focusing on Microsoft Azure and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS); 5+ years of experience writing Hashicorp Terraform configurations and modules for infrastructure automation; experience with container technologies including Docker, Helm, and ArgoCD; knowledge of data platform services including Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Databricks; experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps methodologies; familiarity with cloud networking concepts, security protocols, and the Well-Architected Framework; proficiency in scripting with Bash, PowerShell, or Python; experience with observability tools such as Grafana and Prometheus; proactive and solution-oriented with strong analytical skills and a willingness to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation; fluent in English.

Nice to haves: knowledge of OpenTofu or Bicep; Microsoft Azure certifications; active knowledge of French, Dutch, or German.
