Cloud Security Architect

Security Cloud Architect | AWS | CISO Office. Are you passionate about securing large-scale cloud environments and driving security by design? We are looking for a Security Cloud Architect to join the CISO Office and play a key role in shaping and governing cloud security across the organisation's cloud transformation journey. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor and technical authority on cloud security, helping engineering teams build secure solutions while ensuring security risks are effectively managed.

You will define cloud security standards, guardrails, reference architectures, and reusable security patterns, with a strong focus on AWS and exposure to Azure environments. You will be responsible for reviewing and challenging solution designs, conducting threat modelling and architecture risk assessments, defining remediation plans, and ensuring security controls are aligned with business and regulatory requirements. Working closely with architects, engineers, security operations, and risk teams, you will help strengthen cloud security capabilities across the organisation.

We're looking for an experienced cloud security professional with a strong background in AWS security architecture, including IAM, network security, container security (EKS/ECS), DevSecOps, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation), cryptography, logging and monitoring, and AWS security services such as GuardDuty, Security Hub, Inspector, WAF, and KMS.

Key requirements: 10+ years of experience in IT and Cybersecurity; 5+ years of hands-on Cloud Security Architecture experience; Strong expertise in AWS security architecture (Azure is a plus); Experience defining Cloud Security Control Frameworks and security standards; Proven experience with threat modelling, security assessments, and risk management; Knowledge of NIS2, ISO 27001, CIS, and NIST frameworks; AWS Security Specialty certification is highly desirable; Strong stakeholder management and communication skills; Fluent English.
