Cloud Technical Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Technical Engineer to help customers overcome technical challenges during tenant onboarding and cloud adoption within the T-Systems Public Cloud environment. You will design and build practical cloud solutions, integrations, demos and POCs, while working closely with customers and internal solution teams.

Key responsibilities: Translate customer requirements into scalable cloud solutions; Design and build demos, prototypes and POCs; Support tenant onboarding and landing zone setup; Integrate cloud environments with on-premise and hybrid infrastructures; Identify and mitigate technical and architectural risks; Remove technical blockers and accelerate cloud adoption; Contribute throughout the lifecycle: discovery, design, implementation and optimization.

Requirements: Strong knowledge of cloud architecture across IaaS, PaaS, networking and security; Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP or comparable cloud platforms; Deep knowledge of TCP/IP and networking – routing, DNS, load balancing, firewalls and connectivity; Hands-on experience with APIs, automation and Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform and scripting; Experience with enterprise cloud integrations and building demos/POCs; Good understanding of security, compliance and governance; Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; Comfortable working in a customer-facing environment; Pragmatic, independent and solution-oriented mindset.

Start date 1 November, apply before 9 October, 40 hours per week, location Utrecht.
