Compliance Officer – ad interim

Our client is a dynamic and young energy company based in the west of the Netherlands. In order to further professionalise the compliance function, we are looking for a Compliance Officer – ad interim reporting directly to the CEO. You will be responsible for further developing and embedding a compliant, sustainable and future-proof business operation. You will advise management and the organisation by translating relevant legal and regulatory developments into clear and practical policies, controls and concrete recommendations.

In addition, you will proactively promote these throughout the organisation, for example by providing training.

Profiel: at least 7 years of experience as a compliance professional in highly regulated markets (e.g., financial, energy, etc.), comfortable with managing a broad range of stakeholders (e.g., regulators, auditors), open to dealing with different compliance topics (regulatory, integrity, data protection, IT security, sustainability), affinity with innovation, projects and process improvement, fluent in (at least) English.

Propositie: start from October, expected duration of 3 months (prolongation possible), around 3 days per week, broad and responsible role with many different stakeholders, open and informal culture, office in the Randstad region.
