Concept Engineer

Assignment focused on defining technical concepts for clocking architectures within a hardware development environment. Profiel van de geschikte interim professional: Qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering or a related technical discipline; Professional background in Concept Engineering, Hardware Design, System Architecture or semiconductor development; Sound grasp of clocking principles and clock architectures; Experience translating market or system requirements into technical specifications; Experience with IP-based development and assessment of existing hardware/IP solutions; Experience operating at the interface of concept, design and verification; Skill in structuring and documenting intricate technical concepts; Working knowledge of requirements management and ticketing tools, such as Jira; Strong communication skills for collaboration with distributed technical teams; Hardware-focused background needed, rather than a purely software-oriented profile.

Taken & verantwoordelijkheden: Gather and structure market and system requirements into technical specifications; Create technical concepts centred on clock architecture and clocking solutions; Assess current IPs and architectures for suitability against new standards; Determine whether existing solutions can be reused, adapted or need new development; Document architectural and modelling aspects of technical concepts; Produce clear technical documentation for development teams; Work together with design and verification teams on correct concept implementation; Clarify technical requirements and resolve concept-related issues during implementation; Organise and track technical work items and requirements in Jira; Coordinate with technical experts and stakeholders across the development process.
