Eisen

Omschrijving
This role is responsible for establishing and maintaining an effective Contract life cycle for goods and services in a cost effective and professional manner to protect Company interests. This role is responsible for high value & complex contracting & capital procurement of services related to Turnaround Section. The contracting process involves analyzing the scope of work, planning the best method of enquiry/tendering, preparing memos for approvals, initiating procurement processes, exploring long-term contracts, identifying bidders, and exploring cost saving measures. The role includes developing and monitoring planning and controlling system procedures, developing specifications and cost estimates, promoting Zero Base Costing, liaising with stakeholders, supporting cost control activities, periodic reporting, variance analysis, preparing monthly progress reports, accruals, quarterly outlook reports, supporting the annual 5-year rolling Capital Turnarounds Plan, coordinating with accounting for correct OPEX/CAPEX treatment, monitoring progress, and maintaining cost databases. Essential skills include a Bachelor's Degree in relevant discipline, 5-10 years' direct experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, and working knowledge of SAP PM and SAP MM modules. The work schedule is 8 hours per day, 6 days per week. The duration is 2 years renewable. The location is Qatar. The closing date is September 17, 2026. Salary is a monthly rate in QAR (all inclusive).
