Omschrijving
Join Brunel as a Cost Control Specialist in Doha, Qatar. You are responsible for leading company change order cost estimation, negotiation & reporting throughout the Engineering Procurement Construction phase of the project. You ensure that the Project's cost estimates are fully up to date and in line with the project schedule, and coordinate potential changes aspects of Project controls with other disciplines in the PMT. You are responsible for ensuring that proper and effective cost estimation and controls measures are executed by the contractor with particular emphasis on instituting pre-emptive corrective actions. You provide cost and timely change management expertise to the Project Team, maintain strict compliance with Project Management of Change process, and ensure maintenance of overall cost and schedule within the project controls team. You coordinate the collection, consolidation, analysis and reporting of all Project cost controls, progress measurement and control trends. You plan on potential project changes to evaluate any schedule and/or cost impact, monitor and appraise performance of the Contractor, develop multiple Cost/Schedule driven Contracting Scenarios, coordinate planning and execution of project cost and schedule analysis, forecasting, and change management. You report on development of Class III cost and schedule estimates and bid check estimates, report Bid Evaluation Plans, Procedures and Models, and manage Change Orders throughout the contract duration. Essential skills: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Accounting, Business Management/administration or Commercial disciplines; 8 years of experience in cost estimating, scheduling and project controls; hands-on experience in reporting on Contractors Estimate validation; demonstrated experience in Brownfield Projects specific vulnerabilities; high level of proficiency in written and spoken English; computer literacy.
