Cyber Resilience Advisor - Financial Services

Cegeka is looking for a Cyber Resilience Advisor for its Cyber Resilience and Assurance team. As an advisor, you act as a strategic partner to CISOs, CIOs, risk leaders, and senior management within financial institutions. You combine deep cybersecurity expertise with a strong understanding of regulation, governance, and business risk.

Responsibilities include: building senior customer relationships and advising executives; assessing security posture and maturity, performing risk and compliance gap analyses, and turning findings into prioritised, business-aligned roadmaps; developing deep knowledge of the financial industry; leading advisory engagements using a structured consulting approach; identifying customer needs and shaping high-value advisory opportunities; acting as a design authority for Cegeka's Cyber Security Assessment Framework; developing security strategies, governance models, policies, standards, and executive decision materials; and improving reusable advisory assets while coaching colleagues.

Requirements: substantial experience in cybersecurity advisory, GRC, security program management or a related consulting discipline; solid understanding of cybersecurity challenges and regulatory requirements in financial services; strong knowledge of frameworks such as DORA, NIS2, ISO/IEC 27001, EBA guidelines, NIST CSF, CIS Controls; demonstrated experience conducting assessments and engaging senior stakeholders; a disciplined consulting mindset; excellent English communication skills; relevant higher education or equivalent professional experience; certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Lead Auditor are an advantage.
