Cybersecurity Architect

The role is for a Senior Cybersecurity Architect to support the security of enterprise infrastructure and hybrid cloud environments within a major manufacturing organisation. The role requires a strong background in Windows and Azure security architecture, complemented by practical experience designing and securing AWS environments.

Responsibilities: Design and review security architectures across Windows, Azure and AWS environments. Define security requirements and controls for infrastructure modernisation and cloud migration projects. Assess existing architectures, identify security gaps and recommend remediation actions. Strengthen identity and access management, privileged access and authentication controls. Define secure patterns for network connectivity, segmentation, encryption and logging.

Establish security standards and hardening practices for servers and cloud workloads. Produce architecture documentation and guide technical teams through implementation. Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud and cybersecurity teams to ensure consistent security controls.

Your profile: Proven experience as a Cybersecurity Architect, Cloud Security Architect or Infrastructure Security Architect. Strong expertise in Windows Server security and Active Directory. Solid experience designing secure Microsoft Azure architectures. Demonstrated AWS security architecture experience, including identity, networking, data protection and monitoring. Good understanding of hybrid infrastructure, cloud governance and security risk assessment.

Ability to translate security requirements into practical technical designs. Strong communication, documentation and stakeholder management skills.

Additional assets: Experience with Terraform, Ansible or infrastructure automation. Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, Defender and Sentinel. Familiarity with Zero Trust, security frameworks and cloud security best practices. Previous experience in manufacturing or large international organisations.
