D365 BC Technical Consultant

We are looking for an experienced Freelance D365 Business Central Technical Consultant to support a Business Central environment within a leading fashion and accessories wholesale organisation based in Brussels. The organisation operates across the wholesale distribution of jewellery, bags, scarves, shoes and other fashion accessories, with a strong focus on efficient warehouse, order fulfilment, shipping and financial processes. The successful consultant will work across the technical and functional aspects of D365 Business Central, supporting configuration, integrations, testing, troubleshooting and continuous improvement across the ERP landscape.

Key Responsibilities: Provide technical consultancy and support across Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. Analyse business and technical requirements and translate them into effective BC solutions. Support warehouse, shipping and logistics management processes. Work across Business Central finance areas including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets and Cash Management. Support Financial Reporting and related BC functionality.

Work with ISV solutions and extensions within the Business Central environment. Support Purchase Order Management (POM) and related procurement processes. Develop, configure and troubleshoot Business Central functionality where required. Analyse and resolve technical issues across the BC environment. Support integrations between Business Central and surrounding systems. Work closely with internal stakeholders, key users and external partners. Prepare and execute UAT, including test scenarios, defect management and resolution.

Support releases, deployments and changes across the BC environment. Identify opportunities to improve ERP processes and system performance. Provide technical documentation and knowledge transfer to internal teams.

Required Skills & Experience: Required: Experience working within wholesale, retail, fashion, consumer goods or distribution environments is highly desirable. Comfortable working with both technical teams and business stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with integrations and third-party systems. Strong commercial experience as a D365 Business Central Technical Consultant / Developer. Solid experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Strong understanding of BC architecture, extensions and integrations. Experience with warehouse, shipping and logistics functionality. English.

Highly Advantageous: Experience across several of the following: Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Financial Reporting, Purchase Order Management, ISV solutions, UAT / testing. Experience working within wholesale, retail, fashion, consumer goods or distribution environments is highly desirable. French.

Contract Details: Location: Brussels.

Duration: 6 months (+ extensions).

Rate: Negotiable.
