Stakeholder Management – act as a key contact for reporting stakeholders and report owners; understand changing reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions; proactively communicate issues, risks and improvement opportunities; ensure reporting consumers receive timely support and issue resolution.
Uniform Data Lake Migration – contribute to the migration of compliance reporting workloads towards the Uniform Data Lake; quickly understand the existing reporting architecture and identify migration requirements; translate business and reporting requirements into future-state data products and pipelines; support migration planning, implementation and testing activities. Data Platform Engineering – contribute to the ongoing build and enhancement of the Uniform Data Lake; collaborate with architects, data engineers and business stakeholders to establish sustainable solutions; apply best practices in data engineering, monitoring, automation and data governance; promote data quality and operational excellence across all reporting processes.
Requirements: Technical Skills – proven experience as a Data Engineer in a complex reporting or regulatory reporting environment; strong experience with AWS-based data engineering solutions; extensive experience designing, maintaining and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines; strong understanding of data quality controls, reconciliation processes and monitoring; experience supporting production-critical data platforms; ability to analyse existing systems and translate them into future-state architectures.
Domain Knowledge – experience within banking or financial services; strong understanding of payments, transaction systems, card processing, ledgers and accounting flows, core banking platforms.
