Data Governance & NFR Advisor – Collibra & Data Management

Our client, a leading telecommunications provider, is looking for a specialist to ensure that governance, compliance, and risk considerations are addressed throughout the project and product lifecycle. The role involves supporting various teams in the adoption and implementation of Data Governance requirements and data-related Non-Functional Requirements. Responsibilities include organizing and leading intake sessions with project teams to identify applicable Data Governance requirements and data-related NFRs; advising on governance requirements related to privacy, retention, data classification, and AI Governance; facilitating workshops to assess governance risks and determine the required governance activities; guiding stakeholders in producing documentation and governance artefacts required by control functions such as DPO and Security; coordinating follow-up actions and remediation plans with project teams and Product Managers; identifying recurring governance gaps and contributing to the continuous improvement of methodologies and standards; and supporting the maintenance and evolution of governance assets and workflows within Collibra.

Requirements: you bring 5+ years of experience in Data Governance, Privacy, or Information Management; you possess practical experience with Collibra; you're knowledgeable about data-related NFRs and the data lifecycle; you have experience supporting transformation initiatives in a corporate environment; you bring skills in governance reporting, documentation, and stakeholder coordination; you possess strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills; you're analytical, pragmatic, and solution-oriented; you are fluent in English.

Nice to haves: Collibra certification and knowledge of Dutch.
