Databricks Analytics Engineer: A superb freelance opportunity for an Analytics Engineer with strong Databricks experience. You will help build curated data layers and analytics-ready models in a Databricks on GCP environment, supporting a business investing heavily in reporting, self-service BI, and AI. You will sit at the intersection of data engineering and business insight. What you will do: Build trusted analytics datasets in Databricks on GCP; create clean and efficient transformation logic; improve data accessibility for reporting and BI teams; work with business stakeholders on data requirements; and help shape best practices across the analytics stack. What we are looking for: strong Databricks and SQL expertise; good Python skills; experience with GCP services such as BigQuery, GCS, and IAM; solid background in analytics engineering and data modelling; and a pragmatic, business-oriented mindset.
