About the role: As a Senior Mendix Developer, you will work in a user interface squad building Mendix front ends for existing and new identity and access management processes for employees. You will translate functional requirements into technical solutions, contribute to security and compliance requirements, and help resolve production incidents as part of a multidisciplinary DevOps team. What you’ll do: Develop Mendix solutions and contribute to solution designs.

Model and document your solutions, and build API integrations. Coach junior and medior developers and set and uphold high coding standards. Contribute to software lifecycle management and vulnerability management. Suggest improvements to how your squad works and help resolve impediments. Assess and challenge proposed requirements, offering your own solutions where appropriate. Work with users and team members to handle production incidents. Contribute to the squad roadmap with the product owner and other squad members.

Support your team across different tasks and collaborate with other Mendix teams. What you’ll bring: Mendix Certified L2 Advanced or L3 Expert. At least five years of Mendix development experience. Experience designing solutions, modelling and documenting them, and building API integrations. Experience coaching developers and establishing coding standards. Experience with software lifecycle management, vulnerability management and Agile/Scrum. Fluency in both English and Dutch.

A proactive, communicative approach and the ability to find relevant information in a complex organisation. Ability to collaborate, analyse problems and deliver results. Passion for and affinity with IT, with strong communication and persuasive skills.

Nice to have: Knowledge of other programming languages. Experience with test automation. Knowledge of Azure DevOps and Entra.

Location and working arrangement: Utrecht, with a hybrid working arrangement.

Eisen: Language: English and Dutch mandatory. Mendix Certified L2 Advanced or L3 Expert developer. You have as minimum 5 years of Mendix development experience. Worked on creation of solution designs. Experienced in modelling and documenting your solution. Experienced in building API integrations. Experience with the coaching of junior and medior developers. Experience with setting and enforcing high coding standards. Experience with software LCM and vulnerability management.

You have experience in Agile/Scrum way of working. You are able to cooperate with other Mendix teams within the bank.

Wensen: You provide improvements for the way your squad works. You are able to find the right information in a complex organisation. Help in resolving different impediments occurring in the squads. Pro-active in understanding of and dare to challenge the proposed requirements where you also provide your own solutions. You help users and involve team members in the handling of production incidents. Together with the product owner and other squad members you will work on squad’s roadmap.

You help when required you team by doing other tasks from a T-shape perspective. Knowledge of and experience with other programming languages is very appreciated. Knowledge of and experience with test automation is very appreciated. Knowledge of Azure DevOps and Entra is very appreciated.
