Eisen
- 3+ years of development experience with Python

Our client, a leading organization in the public sector, is seeking a DevOps Engineer to manage and operate cloud workloads within a central hosting platform. The role focuses on ensuring the reliability and scalability of digital services through advanced platform engineering, automated deployment processes, and the optimization of hub-spoke architectures. Responsibilities include developing, managing and operating a central cloud hosting platform using a hub-spoke architecture; optimizing and evolving Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate environment provisioning; automating release processes and CI/CD pipelines; monitoring infrastructure and application health; implementing and configuring security services; designing and executing failure and recovery plans; and collaborating with project teams.
Requirements: 3+ years of experience with cloud platforms (specifically AWS), 3+ years of development experience with Python, 3+ years of experience with IaC, 3+ years automating CI/CD with GitHub or Azure DevOps Pipelines, experience with central hosting platforms within a hub-spoke architecture, a proactive and solution-oriented mindset for Agile/DevOps, and fluency in Dutch at C2 level.
Nice to haves: AWS CLI, Control Tower, SCP, Security Hub, GuardDuty, IAM, container orchestration (ECS Fargate, Kubernetes, Docker), database administration (PostgreSQL, MSSQL, MongoDB), and knowledge of information classification frameworks.
Offer: Start date 21/09/2026, duration until 15/07/2027, full-time, hybrid in Brussels, open to both permanent employees and freelancers.
