Omschrijving
Philips is looking for a Dot.Net Developer for a project role based in Bangalore. The assignment runs for 1 year, starting on September 1, 2026 and ending on August 31, 2027, with a commitment of 40 hours per week. The payrate range is 180000 - 210000 ₹/month (note: this is a monthly amount, not an hourly rate).
Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining high-quality software tools using C#/.NET Core to support interoperability and conformance testing; understanding end-to-end solution architecture, deployment, and integration scenarios and contributing to technical and design decisions; analyzing functional and non-functional requirements and translating them into robust software solutions; designing, developing, testing, and implementing complete software solutions based on customer and product requirements; developing and integrating HTTP-based web services, including SOAP and REST APIs; participating in API design, integration, code reviews, debugging, and technical discussions; ensuring the quality, reliability, maintainability, and performance of software deliverables; preparing and maintaining technical documentation related to software design, development, and implementation; developing and maintaining automated software tests; applying Test-Driven Development (TDD) and other software engineering best practices; working effectively within an Agile development environment and following established Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes; and collaborating with global teams and stakeholders to deliver solutions aligned with interoperability standards.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; 5–8 years of software development experience with strong hands-on expertise in C#/.NET Core; strong understanding and practical experience with HTTP and Web Services, including SOAP and REST; experience in software design, development, debugging, code reviews, and API development/integration; good understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; and good communication and technical documentation skills. Experience with software test automation and TDD is preferred. Experience in healthcare, medical technology, interoperability, or standards-driven environments is an added advantage, and knowledge of DICOM, FHIR, HL7, IHE, or other healthcare interoperability standards is highly desirable.
