About the assignment: Our client, a large international IT services provider, is facing a significant workload in EDI and integration activities within Dynamics 365 environments. They need a specialist who can start right away and help bring that workload under control. The specific EDI standards and integration technologies used at the end customer will be confirmed during intake.

The role: This is not a generic D365 role. You are the integration specialist in a D365 F&O and SCM landscape, focused on how orders, shipments, stock and invoices flow between D365, EDI providers and logistics partners. You understand both the supply chain process and the technical integration behind it. You are just as comfortable with business users as with developers.

Key responsibilities: Design, build and maintain integrations between D365 F&O/SCM and external parties: EDI providers, 3PL and 4PL logistics partners, customers and suppliers. Set up and map EDI messages for core supply chain flows, such as purchase orders, order confirmations, despatch advice (ASN), invoices and stock updates. Analyse and resolve failed messages and integration errors, and reduce the existing backlog. Onboard new trading partners and logistics providers, from mapping and testing to go-live.

Work closely with functional consultants, developers and partners on data mapping, message formats and process alignment. Document integration designs, mappings and support procedures so the team can run them after the assignment ends.

Must-have: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and/or Supply Chain Management. Proven, end-to-end experience with EDI integrations in D365 environments. Experience integrating with 3PL/4PL logistics partners (warehousing, transport, fulfilment). Solid knowledge of the D365 F&O integration toolset: Data Management Framework and data entities, OData, custom services, recurring integrations, business events. Good understanding of supply chain processes: order to cash, procure to pay, warehouse and transport management.

Fluent English, written and spoken. Available to start immediately.

Nice-to-have: Hands-on experience with Edicom. Knowledge of EDI standards and protocols such as EDIFACT, ANSI X12, GS1 XML, AS2 and SFTP. Experience with Azure Integration Services: Logic Apps, Service Bus, API Management, Azure Functions. Experience with other EDI platforms or D365 EDI add-ons. Relevant Microsoft certifications, such as MB-330 (Supply Chain Management) or MB-500 (Finance and Operations Apps Developer). Background in a consultancy or multi-client environment.

Seniority bands: We are looking at two levels. Both need the must-haves above; the difference is in how independently you can shape the integration landscape.

Senior: 10+ years in D365 / AX, with a clear integration track record.

What we expect: Owns integration design, leads troubleshooting, advises on architecture and onboards partners without guidance.

Medior-senior: 7 to 10 years.

What we expect: Builds and supports integrations independently within an existing design, strong in mapping, testing and issue resolution.
