Brunel is partnered with a rapidly growing global technology manufacturer specializing in advanced liquid cooling solutions for AI infrastructure, high-performance computing, enterprise servers, and data centres. We are seeking an Engineering Manager - Technical Cooling Loop (TCL) to oversee technical design ownership across awarded TCS programs. The role involves overseeing mechanical design and engineering execution of Technical Coolant System infrastructure packages, leading and developing the TCS engineering organization including Technical Leads, Mechanical Engineers, Designers, BIM resources, and external engineering partners, providing technical guidance in thermal analysis, heat transfer simulations, stress analysis, root cause investigations, and materials selection for liquid-cooled solutions, leading design reviews and sign-off, managing team workload, developing and implementing engineering processes, coaching and training team members, driving a culture of technical excellence, creating and managing plans for department budgets, and collaborating with business development, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and program management teams. The essential skills and knowledge include a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar, minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, demonstrable experience in TCS architecture, hydronic piping systems, valve trains, filtration, expansion systems, leak detection integration, BIM coordination, and installation-ready design packages, direct experience with stress analysis of mechanical structures, mounts, and piping assemblies, experience delivering large-scale infrastructure or industrial process systems, a Master's degree in thermal or fluid dynamics, experience with deployment, installation & commissioning of facility piping systems, P.Eng designation, leadership skills, collaboration skills, and ability to manage team workload and budgets.
