Omschrijving
This is a site based Environmental Officer position supporting the delivery of a major road and civil infrastructure project. You will work closely with the project management and construction teams, overseeing environmental compliance, contractor performance, environmental documentation and site-based environmental risks throughout the project lifecycle. Monitor environmental performance and compliance across construction activities. Conduct environmental inspections, audits, risk assessments and compliance reviews. Provide environmental advice to Project Managers, Engineers and site teams. Liaise with regulators, consultants, subcontractors and project stakeholders. Prepare environmental reporting and compliance documentation. Support environmental training, inductions and toolbox talks. Essential skills: 5+ years' environmental experience within civil infrastructure, road construction or major projects; relevant tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management or a related discipline; strong understanding of environmental legislation, approvals and construction environmental management; experience working directly with construction contractors and site delivery teams; strong environmental auditing, compliance and reporting experience; TfNSW road project experience would be highly regarded; current Australian driver's licence. What we offer: $120,000 - $150,000 base + super, depending on experience; major civil infrastructure project; regional NSW location; opportunity to work on a significant road infrastructure project; long term project opportunity with an established civil contractor.
