Our client, a prominent organization in the public safety sector, is looking for an expert to conduct a thorough evaluation of their current asset management landscape. The project focuses on assessing IT, OT, and informational assets to deliver a strategic improvement roadmap for the security office.
Responsibilities: Map the current state of hardware, software, data, cloud, and OT assets across the organization. Evaluate the completeness and accuracy of existing CMDB and discovery tools. Organize interviews and workshops with infrastructure, application, and security stakeholders to gather requirements. Perform gap analyses against international standards such as ISO 27001 and NIST. Analyze and prioritize security risks related to unmanaged or obsolete assets.
Develop a concrete roadmap for asset discovery, classification, and lifecycle management. Present findings and strategic recommendations to executive management and the security office.
Requirements: You have 8+ years of experience in Asset Management including inventory, classification, and lifecycle management. You possess 8+ years of expertise in Cybersecurity frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST SP 800-53, and CyFun. You bring proven experience with CMDB and discovery tools such as ServiceNow, Lansweeper, or Tanium. You have deep knowledge of Cloud and OT asset management including shadow IT detection.
