Expert Program Manager - Cards

Rivant is hiring an Expert Program Manager - Cards for a major Belgian bank in Brussels. The role involves owning the Cards program plans, governance and delivery. You steer program boards, capacity and risk with business and IT partners, and keep an international shared-platform Cards agenda moving with group stakeholders and suppliers.

Responsibilities include: owning development and management of the Cards program plans; running program governance and stakeholder management across business, IT, group and suppliers; leading or supporting program boards and steering committees; monitoring delivery, reporting progress, and managing risks and issues; planning capacity and resources; driving program delivery; steering budget and business-case financials.

Required business experience: management of complex projects or a program of projects (10+ years, mandatory), working with both business and IT preferably in an agile environment (mandatory), banking business knowledge (mandatory), cards business knowledge (preferable), centralising activities on a shared platform in an international group (preferable).

Required functional experience: program plans, governance and stakeholder management including group and supplier interfaces (10+ years, mandatory), program boards/steering committees, monitoring, reporting, risk and issue management (mandatory), capacity planning, resource management and program delivery management (mandatory), financial management – budget and business case (mandatory).

Required technical experience: working with both business and IT preferably in an agile environment (mandatory), workflow processes (mandatory), project management methodologies and tools (Agile, Prince2, PMBOK, Clarity, MS Project, Harmony, etc.) (mandatory), familiarity with various IT systems (mandatory), cards issuing and processing systems (preferable).

Language requirements: French (fluent in speaking, reading, writing – mandatory), English (fluent – mandatory), Dutch (good – preferable).

Soft skills: helicopter view and strategic thinking, decisive decision-making, excellent communicator with strong stakeholder management, commercial awareness and customer orientation, proactive and self-propelling, people leadership, structured goal-oriented approach. Start date 2026-10-19, duration 11 months, location Brussels (5 min walk from Central Station), hybrid ~50% on site / 50% homeworking, regular travel to Paris, remote/telework from Belgium only.

Estimated daily rate 800-950 EUR (Rivant market estimate).
