Our client, a leading organization in the public safety sector, is looking for an experienced professional to lead technical teams and manage large-scale IT programs. The role involves overseeing the modernization of legacy Windows applications into responsive web solutions while coordinating cross-functional squads and diverse stakeholders.
Responsibilities include: directing technical teams and project managers, serving as the primary technical authority for architecture, infrastructure, and CI/CD strategies, overseeing maintenance and stabilization of legacy Windows applications, managing implementation of new web-based solutions, coordinating DevOps initiatives, aligning mixed technical profiles, and facilitating Agile ceremonies.
Requirements: 8+ years in program management or technical leadership, 8+ years backend development with .NET (C#), REST APIs, microservices, expertise in Angular, HTML, CSS, micro-frontend, advanced knowledge of event-driven designs and gRPC, extensive experience with GitLab, CI/CD, Kubernetes, UML/BPMN, OpenID Connect, O365, Scrum/Agile, and fluency in English, French, and Dutch. Nice-to-haves include IaC, Linux, Delphi, cryptography, monitoring tools, and public safety domain experience.
Offer: start date 01/11/2026, duration 2 months, full-time, location Brussels, hybrid working model, contract open to both permanent employees and freelancers.
