Eisen

Fabric Architect - Azure MS Fabric. Contract role paying £400 per day Inside IR35, with immediate start. This is a fully remote role with occasional travel to DWP offices in Leeds, London and Sheffield. You must have the unrestricted right to work in the UK and Security Clearance is required. The client is a leading global technology consultancy delivering large-scale cloud, data and digital transformation projects for well-known organisations, specifically one of the UK's largest government programmes (DWP). As the Lead Technical Architect, you will define the technical vision for a large-scale Microsoft Azure Fabric data platform, leading architecture across data, infrastructure, security, and DevOps. Key responsibilities include defining and owning the end-to-end technical architecture, leading architectural design across data, infrastructure, DevOps, security and governance, establishing architecture standards, providing technical leadership, collaborating with senior stakeholders, reviewing and approving high and low-level solution designs, and promoting best practices across Azure, Microsoft Fabric, security and cloud architecture. The role requires extensive experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale Microsoft Azure Fabric solutions, strong expertise across Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse, ADLS Gen2 and OneLake, proven experience defining cloud architecture, governance, security and scalable data platform solutions, strong knowledge of Microsoft Purview, Azure security and enterprise architecture best practices, experience producing and reviewing HLDs and LLDs, and excellent stakeholder management skills. The Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) certification is highly desirable. This is a long-term contract with hybrid flexibility, offering the opportunity to lead the architecture of a high-profile enterprise cloud data platform with significant strategic impact.
