Finance Controller Interim Leiden

Finance Controller Interim for an international organization. The client is an internationally operating professional services organization supporting companies with workforce, payroll, tax and mobility solutions across multiple countries. The role involves leading the monthly and annual financial close processes, preparing management reports, forecasts and budgets, managing tax compliance, VAT filings and statutory reporting, coordinating audit and group reporting requirements, performing financial analysis and providing decision support, and driving process improvements, automation and stronger controls.

The profile requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in a broad finance or controlling role, a strong understanding of financial reporting and month-end close activities, fluency in both Dutch and English, advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP/accounting systems, a detail-oriented with a proactive and hands-on mentality, and a strong communicator who can work independently and collaboratively.
