Financial Analyst Treasury Accounting

Location: Beerse, Belgium

Working mode: Hybrid (at least 3 days per week on-site, max 2 days per week virtually)

Duration: Start ASAP and contract running until Feb 2028

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Imagine your next project taking full ownership of affiliate treasury accounting and playing a pivotal role in major transformation initiatives at a global healthcare leader.

Roles and responsibilities:

- Execution of the accounting transactions that relate to the cash management of a number of affiliates within the Johnson & Johnson group of companies. On a daily basis taking care of processing the postings related to electronic bank statements within a strict timeframe. Performing accounting for financial transactions and reconciling all amounts.

- Setting up new affiliates in the treasury system on a regular basis. Responsible for a correct alignment and implementation of balances and results. This is done in close alignment with the responsible Finance or Global Services teams.

- Taking care of the monthly closing activities. These need to be done within strict deadlines. Ensuring the financial data is fully reconciled and reported to other financial departments. Taking full ownership for correct reporting of treasury related transactions for assigned affiliates.

- Ensuring alignment of accounting processes with US GAAP and Sarbanes Oxley requirements.

- Maintaining close contact with other treasury departments and acting as the go-to person for the affiliates under assignment in order to give support on treasury accounting issues.

- Supporting activities to achieve project milestones successfully within the affiliate treasury accounting space as Treasury is in the middle of a major transformation program (S4 HANA implementation).

How to succeed:

- A Master's degree or equivalent (Finance, Economics, Accounting)

- 2 years of experience in Finance / Accounting in an international environment

- Accuracy and proactivity

- A compliance driven mindset

- A strong sense of job ownership

- Intellectual curiosity and eagerness to learn

- Stress resistant and flexible team player

- A good knowledge of general accounting, with knowledge of US GAAP being an additional asset

- Interest in supporting financial processes and systems

- Fluency in English as an absolute requirement
