For an international company in the Antwerp region, MpowerT is looking for an experienced Financial Controller/Accountant for an interim assignment of approximately 6 months. What will you be working on? R2R accounting, reconciliations and clearing the existing accounting backlog, month-end and year-end closing, preparation of statutory accounts under Belgian GAAP, supporting the external audit, working closely with an international Shared Service Centre, helping to further structure and improve accounting processes.
Who am I looking for? Someone who is hands-on, autonomous and comfortable getting into the details. You have solid accounting/R2R experience and a good understanding of Belgian GAAP and statutory accounting. Experience with Oracle or another ERP system and working in an international/SSC environment are a plus.
Location: Antwerp region.
Start: October.
Duration: approximately 6 months.
