Omschrijving
Financial Reporting Specialist (temporary role) for an international organization operating across retail and digital channels. Location: Amsterdam (City Centre), 32-40 hours per week, contract duration 6-9 months, start ASAP, salary flexible, English required, hybrid working (3 days office / 2 days remote), ZZP allowed. The role contributes to the integrity of financial reporting, accounting governance, compliance, and continuous process improvement. Responsibilities include owning financial reporting and trial balance integrity for multiple entities, managing payroll-related accounting entries, supporting transfer pricing, preparing and reviewing accruals and adjustments, ensuring balance sheet integrity, performing reconciliations, analyzing revenue, monitoring intercompany balances, leading month-end close, delivering reporting via OneStream, performing post-close validation for SOX compliance, partnering with stakeholders, supporting audits, executing SOX controls, ensuring compliance, and driving continuous improvement. Profile: university degree in Finance/Accounting/Business, minimum of 7 years of experience in financial reporting and accounting, retail experience highly desirable, strong understanding of accounting principles, ERP systems and advanced Excel, experience with financial reporting and consolidation tools is a plus, excellent stakeholder management, fluent English, strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, ability to perform under pressure, proactive, hands-on and solution-oriented approach.
