Freelance Construction Manager - EPC / Piping

Our client is an established industrial engineering and construction company operating in sectors including oil & gas, chemicals, petrochemicals and pharmaceuticals. Building on its historical expertise in piping and its experience in modular construction, the company aims to strengthen its EPC capabilities and develop new turnkey projects. As a Freelance Construction Manager EPC / Piping, your responsibilities are: Business Unit Development: Take ownership of the piping activity and contribute to its strategic development and commercial growth; EPC Project Development: Identify and pursue new turnkey projects, moving beyond maintenance and installation towards full project delivery; End-to-End Project Management: Coordinate projects from the design and engineering phases through execution, installation and commissioning; Technical Coordination: Work closely with engineering, design and construction teams to ensure technical feasibility and successful project delivery; Cross-Functional Collaboration: Leverage expertise in piping, mechanical and electrical disciplines, as well as modular construction, to develop integrated solutions; Business Growth: Help strengthen the company's position in its traditional industrial markets while exploring opportunities in new sectors, including data centres; Be present at construction sites to make sure all is going according to the plan & deadline.

A successful Freelance Construction Manager EPC / Piping, you should have: Proven experience in construction management, EPC project delivery within an industrial environment; Strong technical knowledge of piping and industrial installations; Experience managing projects from engineering and design through to construction and commissioning; Good understanding of mechanical and electrical interfaces; Experience in oil & gas, chemicals, petrochemicals or pharmaceutical industries is a strong asset; A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and contribute to business development; Strong coordination, communication and stakeholder management skill.
