Our client is a service-oriented industrial organization operating a high-volume production environment and currently undergoing a period of operational instability. The role involves stabilizing day-to-day operations and re-establishing operational control across the site; identifying root causes of process failures, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies and implementing corrective actions; driving operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance performance; leading an operational turnaround focused on improving productivity, quality, and service levels; and rebuilding trust, collaboration, and stability within operational teams through a visible, hands-on presence on the shop floor.
Requirements include proven experience as an Interim Operations Manager, Plant Manager, or Crisis Manager in an industrial or manufacturing environment; a strong track record in operational turnarounds, crisis management, and performance recovery programs; being hands-on, pragmatic, and action-oriented; strong people management and stakeholder engagement skills; ability to quickly adapt to fast-paced operational settings with limited resources; and fluency in Dutch and English.
The assignment is freelance, full-time, with immediate start preferred, and an initial duration of 3 months.
