Freelance Electronics Engineer – Electronics Qualification & Validation. Location: Eindhoven Region, The Netherlands (100% on-site). Contract: Freelance. Duration: 2 months. Hours: 40 hours per week. Start Date: Late August/ begin september. About the Client: Our client is a leading high-tech engineering company operating in industrial automation, motion control and precision technology. They develop advanced electronic systems for demanding industrial applications and are currently looking for an experienced Freelance Electronics Engineer to support the qualification and validation of a new hardware platform before customer validation begins. Due to the temporary absence of a key team member, they are looking for an engineer who can quickly integrate into the team, work independently and make an immediate impact. Your Responsibilities: You will primarily work in the electronics laboratory and be responsible for: performing electronics qualification and validation testing, executing digital and analog measurements, analyzing measurement results and drawing technical conclusions, debugging electronic circuits where required, documenting test results and findings, reporting technical issues and deviations, independently executing predefined test procedures, and collaborating with the engineering team to successfully qualify the hardware. Most test procedures have already been prepared, allowing you to focus on efficient execution, technical analysis and troubleshooting. Required Technical Experience: Digital Electronics: experience with signal integrity, timing analysis, digital interfaces including SPI, I²C, LVDS and proprietary interfaces. Analog / Mixed Signal Electronics: experience with low-voltage power supplies, DAC / ADC circuits, noise measurements and analog debugging. Laboratory Experience: hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, active probes, differential probes, signal integrity measurements, power supply measurements and noise measurement equipment. Who We're Looking For: Technical knowledge is important, but the client places even greater value on someone who can become productive quickly. You are someone who works independently, learns new environments quickly, takes ownership, is proactive, has strong analytical skills, documents work accurately, communicates effectively with the team, and delivers immediate value within an ongoing development project. Education & Experience: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or a related field, several years of relevant professional experience, experience with hardware qualification and validation, and experience in a high-tech product development environment is a strong advantage. Practical Information: Eindhoven region, 100% on-site, 40 hours per week, freelance assignment, expected start: Mid/Late August.
