Omschrijving
To start with, the position of Global IHQ Business Controller (IT) sits comfortably in the Global Group Control Department. An incredibly diverse team that helps each other learn, grow and develop. As a Global IHQ Business Controller you will be asked to be the financial business partner to Central Function (HQ) teams, and Financially responsible for P&L below GP, Balance Sheet and Operating Working Capital and Business partner to IT. Other Central Function could be expected from the Business Controller, like Marketing, HR, Facilities, R&D and Supply Chain.
For this, we don't need you to just be a knowledgeable professional but also strongly rely on your interpersonal skills as well as your drive for success. You'll have a crucial role in creating and protecting the impact we look for in our value chain. Responsibilities include performing month-end closing activities, being responsible for monthly financial and management reporting for complete P&L, Balance Sheet and Operating Working Capital, both internal and external, and related period-end-closing activities like analysis of results and balance sheet items; providing on-time reports; driving compliance with specific cost management, PO and analytics tooling; preparing the annual operating plan following deadlines and instructions; monthly forecast review with budget owners primarily for IT; business partner for budget owners; strong coordination with Vendor Management team; responsible for proper balance sheet management; interpreting and applying Finance instruction; participating in or leading cross-functional projects; acting as a linking pin between departments.
Qualifications: minimum 8-10 years of relevant working experience, preferably in similar IT Business Control roles; strongly analytical and experienced business modelling (financial and non-financial); strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with Stakeholder Management; strong understanding of (commercial) business acumen.
