Freelance Senior Salesforce Consultant (Core Cloud) for a client in Amsterdam, Netherlands, with 2 days onsite per week. Start date is October 2026, initial 6-month contract, full-time.

The Opportunity: We're supporting a client in Amsterdam that is looking to engage an experienced Senior Salesforce Consultant to join a business-critical Salesforce programme. This role sits at the intersection of business process improvement and Salesforce development, requiring someone who is equally comfortable engaging with stakeholders as they are building solutions on the platform. You'll work closely with the Product Owner and Business Consultants to optimise and enhance key processes across payments, credit notes, approvals, and integrations.

The successful consultant will be expected to operate independently, take ownership of deliverables, and collaborate effectively across multiple teams. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior consultant who enjoys working autonomously within a client environment and influencing both business and technical decisions.

Key Responsibilities: Partner with Product Owners and business stakeholders to understand and refine requirements; Design and implement Salesforce solutions aligned with business objectives; Build and optimise complex Salesforce Flows and automation processes; Develop custom Salesforce functionality using Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC); Support enhancements across payment, approval, and credit note processes; Collaborate with technical and functional teams to ensure successful delivery of integrated solutions; Provide guidance on Salesforce best practices, platform capabilities, and solution design; Take ownership of development, testing, deployment support, and documentation activities.

Required Skills & Experience: Must Have: Strong Salesforce Core Cloud experience; Proven expertise with Salesforce Flow development and automation; Hands-on Apex development experience; Experience developing Lightning Web Components (LWC); Strong stakeholder management and communication skills; Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; Experience translating business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions; Fluent Dutch language skills.
