For a fast growing company based in Amsterdam (140 employees) we are looking for people who can do more. People with a passion for frontend! You are responsible for the frontend of the web applications. You are the link between the UI design and the backend applications. Your job is to make the web designs come to life for a full UX. Not only for desktop but also for mobile and tablets. Responsive experience is a pre. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining our CMS, building custom plugins and maintaining its stability and security. They value your experience and opinion so we expect you to speak up when there is room for improvement. The team is responsible for the design and development of the website. The multi-national team includes interaction designers, front-end developers, back-end developers and dedicated testers. When you enter the floor, you feel the positive and active energy all around you. They have a clear focus on media and marketing. The employees work in relatively small teams and have a lot of responsibility. The business culture is open and informal, with short communication lines towards the management team. Core responsibilities are the stability and optimization of the websites, improving UI and UX to optimize conversion. You will focus on the development and scripting side of responsive frontend development. You have experience with HTML5/CSS3/Javascript. You are familiar with libraries, frameworks and design patterns. You have experience with cross browser and responsive web design. You have experience working with Agile/SCRUM (or other forms of Agile development) and version control (ig GIT). You have experience with CSS Preprocessor (Sass) and Grunt. WordPress and Magento experience is a plus. You are a team player but can also function very independently. Fluent in English, Dutch is a plus.
