We are looking for a Full-Stack Developer / DevOps Engineer with strong Python expertise, solid cloud architecture skills and a pragmatic approach to building scalable solutions. In this role, you will contribute to the technical development of digital applications and services, with a strong focus on clean implementation, sustainable architecture and operational excellence.

Location: Brussels; remote work is possible.

Task objectives: contribute to the technical build of applications, including APIs, user experience, frontend and backend components, data platforms and overall architecture, in close collaboration with the IT lead; act as a senior technical advisor by helping define the most suitable technologies, tools and architectures; support business analysis with technical input and feasibility insights; introduce and apply best practices for scalability, maintainability and reusability; promote high-quality development standards; contribute to AI-based regression testing and automation.

Deliverables: maintain and develop Python web services; maintain, improve and extend CI/CD pipelines; collaborate with IT colleagues; support risk and data analytics teams; help shape processes.

Your profile: experience as a senior full-stack developer with DevOps and cloud mindset.

Essential technical skills: excellent knowledge of Python, strong experience with FastAPI, solid command of PostgreSQL, strong experience with Kubernetes and containerized deployments, hands-on knowledge of ArgoCD and CI/CD, strong experience with Google Cloud Platform.

Backend: Python 3.10+, FastAPI, Celery, SQLModel and Pydantic, Pydantic AI, SQLAlchemy, Black, Flake8, Git, Alembic, PostgreSQL, JWT, REST API development, programmatic usage of AI models, WordPress administration.

DevOps: GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD, Kubernetes, Helm, Docker.

Cloud architecture: GCP, GKE, Compute Engine, IAM, Secret Manager, Monitoring, BigQuery, Storage, Cloud SQL, error reporting and logging, VPC networking, Vertex AI, Linux, Nginx, WireGuard, UFW/iptables.

Frontend (nice to have): TypeScript, Next.js, NPM, ESLint, Prettier, Husky.

Experience: proven experience in a startup or scale-up environment, very strong Python/cloud/deployment capabilities, comfortable across frontend and backend, team-oriented, high integrity, structured self-starter, able to work independently, open to feedback, understanding of B2B trade is a plus, knowledge of trade credit insurance is an asset.

Languages: Dutch or French and English.
