Fullstack Developer – Spring Boot & Angular

Our client, a prominent public sector organization, is seeking an experienced fullstack developer to support the modernization of its application landscape. The project focuses on improving security, performance, and technical sustainability across business-critical platforms and integration workflows. Responsibilities include developing new application features using modern frontend and backend frameworks, supporting the modernization and rewriting of legacy functionalities, collaborating with existing development teams to maintain architectural consistency, enhancing application security and data quality within central data management platforms, and migrating legacy application components to a unified modern technology stack.

Requirements: 5+ years of frontend development using Angular, 5+ years of backend development with Java and Spring Boot, 3+ years of experience with REST, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, 3+ years of experience with SQL, proactive and solution-oriented, and active knowledge of Dutch, French, and English.

Nice to have: experience with Angular 17 or higher, familiarity with legacy technologies including Java EE and JSF, and knowledge of HR data management systems. The offer includes a start date of 15/10/2026, a duration of 7 months, full-time work regime, location in Brussels, hybrid working model, and the contract is open to both permanent employees and freelancers.
