Functional Analyst

Our client is looking for a Functional Analyst – Supply Chain / ERP / Logistics to support a large-scale Supply Chain Transformation Program. Working under the leadership of the Program Manager, the Functional Analyst will analyse business processes, gather and structure requirements, and translate them into functional designs for ERP and logistics solutions. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, developers, integration specialists and testers to ensure the successful delivery and integration of end-to-end Supply Chain solutions.

Key responsibilities include: analysing and documenting end-to-end Supply Chain processes (procurement, warehousing, inventory, order management, logistics); gathering, analysing and challenging business requirements; performing process mapping; writing functional specifications and integration requirements; supporting solution design and gap analyses; collaborating with developers, integration specialists and testers; coordinating functional testing (SIT/UAT); defining test scenarios and following up on defects; analysing system-to-system data flows; supporting ERP and logistics implementation projects; facilitating alignment between business and IT; and contributing to the overall program.

Mandatory experience: 3–5 years as Functional Analyst in Supply Chain or ERP; proven experience with end-to-end Supply Chain processes; participation in ERP/logistics implementation/integration projects; strong skills in requirements gathering, process mapping, functional specification writing, solution design, gap analysis, functional validation; experience coordinating SIT/UAT; understanding of ERP architecture (SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA); familiarity with integration concepts (IDocs, APIs, flat files); ability to understand data models and data flows; experience documenting integration requirements.

Preferable: functional knowledge of SAP modules (MM, WM, EWM, SD, PP); experience with WMS, TMS or OMS; knowledge of Supply Chain master data; experience in multi-site environments; cross-functional working; workshop facilitation; large transformation programs; basic SQL; Power BI; warehouse automation or IoT.

Personal skills: strong analytical and problem-solving, excellent communication, structured, proactive, collaborative, able to manage priorities, comfortable challenging requirements.

Languages: English fluent; Dutch and/or French – one of the two must be fluent, passive knowledge of the second accepted.

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in IT, Engineering, Supply Chain, or equivalent through experience.

Practical: Location Kobbegem, remote 3 days/week, onsite 2 days/week, start ASAP, duration 12 months with possible extension.
